Professional Experience

I've been working with clients of all ages since 2015 in community mental health care, a sexual assault center, and private practice. This, my education at Seattle University (my clinical training and theological formation), and ongoing training inform my holistic and evidence based approach to your care.

• Many individuals experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. 
• Integrating evidence based practices Internal Family System (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for PTSD, depression, anxiety and more, I'll help you navigate how painful and traumatic experiences play out in your memory, thoughts, feelings and even in the physical sensations your body experiences. 
• I'll also assist you in leading from your True Self when it comes to navigating your Parts which can sometimes over protect your Internal Family System (IFS) in your life and relationships by exploring Intimacy from the inside out (IFIO).

• Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems Therapy from the Inside Out (IFIO) are the primary research backed evidence based modalities I utilize to achieve your goals of couples/partners and family therapy.
• Therapy can be beneficial to couples, partners and families who are looking to recover from relationship betrayals, strengthen intimacy including their emotional connection and improve communication. Important lenses to view the pathway to progress include an exploration of cultural. multi-generational and family of origin influences; and neurodivergence within in a safe and confidential therapeutic space. 
• I  meet first with everyone involved in therapy and then individually to ensure I fully understand each person's unique experience before we come back together. 
• Family Systems: Viewing the family as the sum of its parts where everyone plays a unique role, I'll assist your family to find peace and harmony.
